About the role:
This position reports to the APAC Senior Manager – Marketing Communications with dotted line reports to our ANZ General Manager/ANZ Product Marketing Manager
The incumbent will be responsible for the optimization of marketing and communications initiatives in Australia and New Zealand. The focus is on executing internal and external campaigns to build engagement and brand awareness in line with business imperatives and defined compliance parameters through supporting both commercial operations and functional departments of Arthrex ANZ.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Partner with the General Manager and collaborate with ANZ business leaders to develop and implement marketing and communications initiatives, including regular business and performance updates, ensuring consistency in messaging and alignment with broader organizational targets.
Champion the Arthrex brand by developing and implementing impactful strategies to achieve business goals. Oversee the entire project lifecycle, including defining scope, setting goals, and delivering key outcomes. Deliverables typically include crafting key messages, drafting copy, preparing assets, and establishing criteria to measure effectiveness.
Work closely with the ANZ Graphic Designer and Digital Content Specialist to create engaging and creative assets in line with the Arthrex brand guidelines, including eDMs, brochures, videos, presentations, infographics, banners, LinkedIn posts/content, event content, in-office digital signage (TV screens), office branding, advertisements, and more.
Build strong relationships with key stakeholders across the ANZ business, including the Product Management team, the Medical Education team, the Human Resources team and other functions such as Legal & Compliance, Finance, IT, and RA/QA.
In partnership with stakeholders, develop engaging social media content using a storytelling approach to elevate the Arthrex brand. This typically includes Medical Education events, Employee Value Proposition initiatives, and conference sponsorships.
Support the Product Management team to localise global marketing assets for the ANZ market – ensuring they meet local regulatory requirements. This includes assets for events and trade shows.
Provide support to the Product Managers when launching new products, particularly with asset creation to inform and educate the sales teams and customers.
Manage and oversee company websites and microsites. Collaborate with internal teams, utilise company resources, or coordinate with external agencies to ensure optimal performance and alignment with goals.
Manage, in partnership with the General Manager and ANZ Leadership Team, the flow and content development of quarterly ANZ Townhalls.
Coordinate corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives, including charity events, volunteering opportunities, fundraising campaigns, and community awareness programs to enhance employee engagement.
About the Requirements:
Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience
Bachelor’s degree preferred in Marketing or Communications
Excellent copywriting and professional writing skills and excellent verbal communication skills
Creative flair in producing engaging and impactful assets
Superb organizational skills and a proven ability to prioritize and manage workload within a fast-paced environment
Ability to work both autonomously and within a cross-functional team environment
Experience working in the medical device/pharmaceuticals industry would be highly regarded, including working in agency roles supporting the healthcare industry
Highly proficiency to advanced in Word, PowerPoint and Outlook to create impactful eDMs, presentations and documents
