This role is a 6 month only contract role for parental leave cover. The role is exclusively focused on clinical case support coverage for in theatre cases (there will be no sales elements). Your background must be either a Theatre Nurse (or similar) with prior Arthrex product experience or alternatively a competitor Clinical/Sales Rep happy with a 6 month contract fill in between roles. There is possibility this could translate into full time employment but this is not guaranteed.
About the Role
With a key focus on customer and clinical excellence, the Clinical Specialist is primarily responsible for providing exceptional service by offering solutions to Surgeons and Medical/Healthcare professionals across Arthrex’s product portfolio including Sports Medicine & Arthroscopy, Distal Extremities & Traumatology, Imaging & Resection, Shoulder Arthroplasty and Orthobiologics. Key responsibilities include:
- Developing effective relationships and liaising with Surgeons and Theatre staff; providing support for products/solutions that addresses customer’s pain points
- Identifying customer needs and optimising on opportunities and presenting product information
- Providing in-theatre clinical support during cases, delivering in-servicing for customers, and supporting new product launches
- Ensuring that all service/support that is needed to ensure successful surgical case outcomes is coordinated
About the Requirements
- Successful track record as an allied health professional (or similar Sales Rep/Clinical Specialist from competitor companies)
- Strong team orientation, and a long term, relationship based sales approach
- Ability to think strategically and constructively challenge customers
- Excellent communication, time management and prioritisation skills
