Implementation Project Specialist (Remote - Los Angeles)

**Please note this role is REMOTE in the Greater Los Angeles area, and requires availability to report into our Santa Barbara, CA office as per need base**

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

· Conduct and manage the outcome of assigned projects as either lead or as oversight of other appointed members.

· Develop and use expert knowledge to influence decision-making to advance projects or tasks.

· Develop and implement effective/strategic project schedules by working with Project Supervisor and Client.

· Provide assessment and tracking of project or client scope of work requirements for an assigned project focusing on project goals.

· Execute the investigation, planning, communication, and implementation of solutions for the project primarily through the application of technology and project management methodologies.

· Support end-user training as needed.

· Develop and maintain a productive working relationship with project sponsors and key stakeholders

· Responsible for software deployment, diagnosing, troubleshooting, and resolving hardware, software, or other network and system problems, and replacing defective components when necessary

· Configure and test computer hardware, networking, and operating system software.

· Communicating with people outside the organization, representing the organization to customers and other external sources. This information can be exchanged in person, in writing, or by telephone or e-mail.

· Performing day-to-day administrative tasks such as maintaining information files and processing paperwork, and/or updating DHR documents

· Must be able to travel domestically and potentially internationally up to 50% of the time and occasionally work evenings and weekends.

Education and Experience:

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Electronics Engineering.

Minimum one year of experience in system implementation required.

Knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server is required.

Knowledge of Networking Routers/Switches/VLANs is required.

Knowledge of HL7 preferred.

Knowledge of Fiberoptic encoder/decoder devices preferred.

Project Management experience preferred.

Knowledge and Skill Requirements/Specialized Courses and Training:

Basic working knowledge of audio/visual electronic systems.

Ability to manage the scope and phasing of projects; forecasting and estimating effort to ensure that customer expectations on delivery timeframes are effectively balanced

Ability to assist in the implementation of process changes, including assistance in training curriculum and the development of communications for internal and external customer audiences

Machine, Tools, and Equipment Skills:

Video, Audio Visual, and Digital Documentation Devices. Proficiency with MS Office.

Reasoning Ability:

Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret a wide variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

Mathematical Skills

Ability to comprehend and apply mathematical principles to the degree required to perform the job based upon job requirements.

Language and Communication Skills:

Ability to comprehend and apply language skills to the degree required to perform the job based upon the job requirements listed above. Ability to verbally communicate ideas and issues effectively to other team members and management. Ability to write and record data and information as required by procedures.
