Arthrex is actively searching for Calibration Specialist I that can execute and schedule all calibration activities. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Follow established laboratory safety and operational procedures. 
  • Conduct or organize calibration activities for mechanical, electrical, and linear equipment according to established procedures to maintain calibration status. 
  1. Schedule and coordinate calibrations among various departments. 
  1. Calibrate / Enter data into calibration management system. 
  1. Preventive maintenance and repair – Perform repair and preventive maintenance on gages/equipment as needed. 
  1. Prepare calibration reports and certificates. 
  • Track and maintain all equipment status.  
  • Initiate NCR for all out of tolerance equipment as required. 
  • Ensure all calibration is in accordance with approved Procedures. 
  • Document all activities in a legible manner following established formats and procedures. 
  • Represent the Calibration function during regulatory inspections.  

 

Education and Experience: 

  • High school diploma or equivalent required 
  • 3 years’ experience in a manufacturing setting required. 
  • Experience with inspection equipment/hand gages required.  

 

Knowledge and Skill Requirements/Specialized Courses and/or Training: 

Good mechanical aptitude. Ability to read blueprints. Good understanding of Calibration principles preferred.  PMEL or equivalent training preferred. 

 

 

Machine, Tools, and/or Equipment Skills: 

Experience with SAP or equivalent Calibration Software, Laser Micrometer and Quality Control Inspection Equipment preferred.
