Main Objective:

Learn the practical application of Supply Chain strategies to support a Global Med Device company


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Review Action Messages: Past Dues, Expedites, De-Expedites for team Synergy.
  • Review and release planned orders and provide input based on total consumption (w buyer supervision)
  • Handle one-off requests from Engineers and Product Managers.
  • Chart OTD Data for the ASIP program in preparation for the monthly meeting with the GSL’s.
  • Review IPM data (with usage) to determine a list of items to be dispositioned.
  • Explore opportunities for cost reductions based on Lot sizing /Order Multiples/ VMI / SAP Contract.

Education and Experience:

Progress towards a college degree in Supply Chain required..


Knowledge and Skill Requirements/Specialized Courses and/or Training:

Basic to intermediate computer skills. Be able to follow written and verbal direction.


Machine, Tools, and/or Equipment Skills:

PC; Familiarity with Microsoft Outlook; PowerPoint; Word and Excel. Fax; Scanner.
