Arthrex is a global medical device company and a leader in new product development and medical education in orthopedics. Arthrex is actively seeking a Sr Manager - Organizational Change Management works directly with the HR & Corporate Communications Teams and supports all of the departments within Arthrex.  The Sr. Manager OCM (Organizational Change Management) is responsible for leading the design, development, execution and management of an Organizational Change Management strategy and plan for Arthrex. The primary responsibility will be creating and implementing change management strategies and plans that maximize employee adoption and usage and minimize resistance. The Sr Manager OCM will work to drive faster adoption, higher ultimate utilization of and proficiency with the changes that impact employees. Act as a coach for senior leaders and executives in helping them fulfill the role of change sponsor. The role may also require you to provide direct support and coaching to all levels of managers and supervisors as they help their direct reports through transitions and support project teams in integrating change management activities into their project plans. The position will work closely with the multiple PMO and/or other Arthrex departments to facilitate project delivery and success. Excellent communications and analytical skills, strong technical project management skills and a Bachelors’ degree will be essential for this position. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Partner with Arthrex’s project managers and functional leaders to seamlessly deliver change management to the organization as part of project initiatives.
  • Apply a change management process and tools to create a strategy to support adoption of the changes required by a project or initiative.
  • Support the design, development, delivery, and management of communications across multiple regions for programs, projects or initiatives.
  • Engage with business to Design, Deploy and Conduct impact analyses, assess change readiness and identify key stakeholders for projects.
  • Actively participate in large initiatives to provide input, document requirements, and support the design and delivery of training programs.
  • Responsible to create actionable deliverables for the five change management levers: communications plan, sponsor roadmap, coaching plan, training plan, resistance management plan
  • Support Project Managers with organizational design and definition of roles and responsibilities throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Define and measure success metrics and monitor change progress to be leveraged globally.
  • Build strategic alignment outward with our business partners, while also taking inward those agendas within Arthrex functional areas.
  • Implement different change models and approaches to fit various scenarios and Arthrex organizational culture.
  • Proactively deploy appropriate change management methodology, standards, and tools to effectively enable a customized framework to ensure user adoption and business readiness.
  • Establish management systems that drives continuous growth in maturity of processes and capabilities in business readiness.
  • Monitor overall change management program portfolio.
  • Up to 25% travel required.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree required; MBA preferred.
  • 10 years of experience in a relevant field such as organizational development, organizational behaviors, communications, information technology, Organizational Change Management.
  • Prior experience leading global, enterprise-wide initiatives and/or projects.
  • 5 years of direct management/supervision experience required.
  • Understanding of Medical Device industry is a plus.
  • Experience working in a project where multiple functions work in a matrix structure a plus

Knowledge and Skill Requirements/Specialized Courses and/or Training:

  • Demonstrated history of success leading a business through a significant transformation initiative.
  • Experience working with globally diverse partners or leading cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to build, nurture, and maintain relationships with all levels of the organization.
  • Strong communication (written and oral) and presentation skills.
  • Excellent organizational and planning skills.
  • Strong negotiating, influencing, and conflict resolution skills.
  • In depth knowledge of Organizational Change Management functions and practices. Prosci Change Management certification is a plus.
  • Ability to work comfortably at all levels within the organization up to the executive management level.
  • Ability to adapt and work across different cultures and with a variety of leaders from different backgrounds and experiences.
