Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and maintain travel and daily schedule of the Senior Director of Orthobiologics.
  • Coordinate, plan and administer meetings and trainings.
  • Take, organize, and send out minutes of important meetings.
  • Write follow-up letters to accounts and agency owners/managers when called upon.
  • Assist Senior Director of Orthobiologics with creating PowerPoint presentations.
  • Welcome and provide office tours or personnel introductions to surgeon and other customers during visits to Arthrex home office when necessary.
  • Coordinate with customer service, finance, legal, marketing, product management, medical education, and other departments with communicating information or needs from Orthobiologics team.
  • Manage calls and fulfill requests from agency owners, managers, and sales representatives for product information, sales promotions and other information.
  • Manage and assist with email correspondence from Orthobiologics team email.
  • Manage Orthobiologics team calendar.
  • Fulfill requests from Senior Director of Orthobiologics by communicating memo information to sales force.
  • Organize and maintain promotional, new product, and sales bulletin materials for Senior Director of Orthobiologics (materials would also include PowerPoint presentations, surgical animations, surgical technique videos, scientific articles and other information).
  • Maintain databases, organizational documents and spreadsheets for all Orthobiologic Product Managers, including updating as needed.
  • Maintain and update contact information for Product Management team, Regional Management team, and bio-specific agency personnel.
  • Provide updates to agency personnel through Orthobiologics team email and internal communication channels.
  • Manage team Purchasing Card and submit expense reports for team as requested.
  • Assist with submitting purchase requisitions and invoices through internal processes.
  • Assist with tracking of assets deployed during product launch.
  • Assist in providing sales performance and potential opportunity for responding to RFP’s.
  • Track and provide monthly detailed performance reports for Orthobiologic teams.
  • Track and report quarterly financial and sales performance for major competitors.
  • Develop and maintain updated database of presentations.
  • Assist with generating and organizing newsletter.
  • Some travel required for certain sales and/or surgeon meetings (approximately 10%).
  • Maintain (and process requests for) a data base of techniques, competitive articles, studies, testing, etc. for distribution to surgeons, corporate personnel and the sales force.

 

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required, college degree preferred
  • 1 year minimum work experience in administration, marketing, or general office experience preferred.
  • Previous sales support experience preferred.

 

Knowledge and Skill Requirements/Specialized Courses and/or Training:

  • Detail-oriented professional with excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Excellent verbal, written, analytical, project, research, organizational and interpersonal skills with a sharp attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
  • Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with employees and managers at all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to work independently and interact with all levels of management.
  • Highly discrete individual who can handle sensitive and confidential information
  •  Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

 

Machine, Tools, and/or Equipment Skills:

Expert in Microsoft PC based programs (MS Office: Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook, Project), fax machine, laser printer, scanner, copier, telephone.
