Arthrex is a global medical device company and a leader in new product development and medical education in orthopedics. Arthrex is actively seeking an Infrastructure Analyst Lead for our Network Security team, specifically focused on Route/Switch.  This position is available at our Headquarters location in Naples, Florida or could be located at one of our other branch locations, including Pendleton SC, Boston, MA or potentially a mostly remote position, depending on experience.  The route/switch team is responsible for global data transport (including WAN and LAN), Load Balancing and other networking systems.  Our goal is to provide stable, high performing networked systems to support our sales, manufacturing and support processes globally.  Strong knowledge of Cisco products as demonstrated through extensive experience, CCNP and related certifications are required.  Experience mentoring junior team members is also preferred. Excellent communications and analytical skills, strong technical project management skills and a Bachelors’ degree in Engineering or a Computer Science field will be essential for this position. Join our talented team at a global medical device company focused on Helping Surgeons Treat Their Patients Better™.


We are open to this role sitting at any of our East coast facilities, Naples FL, Boston Mass, or South Carolina.  It could also be remote work from home for the right situation.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Analyze and recommend solutions, upgrades, and services for streamlining and system improvements.
  2. Support of hardware/software maintenance to include troubleshooting, installation and upgrades, Tier 3 support.
  3. Support multiple locations worldwide (domestic and international travel may be required).
  4. Participate in the architecture and design of infrastructure solutions and methodology
  5. Act as subject matter expert in Route/Switch technology for networking team
  6. Complete GIS operational tasks, project tasks, and end user support duties as assigned.
  7. Lead the architecture and design of infrastructure solutions and methodology.
  8. Lead high-profile, mission-critical GIS projects and project teams.
  9. Resolve incidents through effective troubleshooting methodology, Tier 3.
  10. Maintain accurate updated documentation while performing essential job duties.
  11. Liaison with internal business partners, vendors, and external partners and resources.
  12. Assist other analyst with troubleshooting and fulfillment processes.
  13. Ability to train other staff on technical operations.
  14. Provides mentorship to others in the department.
  15. Assist management with strategic GIS alignment and project management.
  16. Expected to resolve and take ownership of issues without management involvement.
  17. Subject matter expert on the operation, maintenance, management, and deployment of multiple computer infrastructure hardware/software solutions.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s degree preferred – one of these preferrably in a computer science-related field.
  • 8 years of experience in supporting computer infrastructure hardware, applications, and systems required.
  • 2 years experience leading junior staff in completing day-to-day operational tasks and/or enterprise scale projects required.
  • Computer infrastructure-centered certifications required including Cisco CCNP level certification in routing/switching.  Other certifications highly recommended and preferred as well. 


Knowledge and Skill Requirements/Specialized Courses and/or Training:

In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Windows networking and design, security, Local and Wide Area network design. Experience with servers, virtualization and storage systems.
