Master Data Management Data Steward II

PURPOSE: Create and maintain key Master Data as per policy, work instructions, and business rules as a service to Global Master Data Owners.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Prepare, create, change, and cleanse Master Data in Arthrex systems of record
• Identify and assist in resolution of issues related to data quality, integrity, accuracy, consistency and completeness
• Assist in resolution and documentation of data-related Corrective and Preventive Actions as required
• Document and report key process indicators and quality measurements
• Participate in projects involving Master Data and assist technical teams with the execution and of testing and defect management
• Collect and maintain metadata for key Master Data objects
• Perform data-quality monitoring and measurement activities
• Create and update business process documentation and end user documentation for the creation and maintenance of Master Data
• Provide training in functions related to Master Data creation and maintenance
• Support activities to harmonize, standardize, and Globalize processes related to Arthrex Master Data

KNOWLEDGE: Has mastered data stewardship and ERP/PLM systems. Broad knowledge of company practices and industry standards. Awareness of cross-system processes and impacts.

PROBLEM SOLVING: Regularly solves routine problems. Identifies and escalates emerging trends of issues.  Able to incorporate solutions learned from previous solutions. Identifies process improvement opportunities.

DISCRETION/ LATITUDE:  Work is performed under general direction.  Participates in determining objectives of assignment.  Plans schedules and arranges own activities in accomplishing objectives.

IMPACT: Contributes to the completion of organizational projects and goals.  Errors in judgment or failure to achieve results would normally require a moderate expenditure of resources to rectify.  Assists with projects. 

LIASION: Frequent internal company and external contacts, including counterparts from (internal) suppliers and customer. May represent team on specific projects.  Limited contact resources external to company.

EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION: 3 years experience required,   Bachelors degree required
