MAIN OBJECTIVE:
Analyze current marketing processes to identify new and/or refine existing opportunities to improve. Upon approval, manage to completion the implementation of improvement initiatives, such as implementing changes in marketing workflows.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Analyze marketing processes and workflows.
- Develop marketing process and workflow improvement strategies.
- Validate and if needed, make recommendations for updating SLA’s within workflows.
- Create and communicate compelling continuous improvement business cases.
- Interact regularly with Marketing Operations Product Owner and Business Analyst to understand and align on any in-flight activities and/or scheduled work, to avoid potential duplication of efforts.
- Conduct and communicate impact analysis related to continuous improvement initiatives. For example, identification of stakeholders who will be impacted.
- Assist in uncovering marketing process improvement opportunities through interviews, surveys, analytics, and qualitative/quantitative research.
- Use tools and techniques such as A3, DMAIC, DMADV, Gemba Walks, Kaizen events, Root Cause Problem Solving and/or Value Stream Mapping to validate improvement opportunities.

MACHINE, TOOLS, and/or EQUIPMENT SKILLS:
PCs and have a command of Excel, PowerPoint, and Word plus any additional communications equipment as needed.

Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

Develops solutions to a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity. Refers to policies and practices for guidance.
DISCRETION/LATITUDE:
Works under very general supervision. Work is reviewed for soundness of judgment and overall adequacy and accuracy.

Contributes to the completion of organizational projects and goals. Errors in judgement or failure to achieve results would normally require a moderate expenditure of resources to rectify. May be responsible for small to medium size projects and assist with large size projects.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Marketing or Business Administration
Attending or attended formal training of Lean Six Sigma methodologies.
2 years of experience working in a business process improvement / optimization role or in an operations management
