With a corporate mission of Helping Surgeons Treat Their Patients Better™, Arthrex has pioneered the field of arthroscopy and develops more than 1,000 innovative products and procedures each year that support all aspects of orthopedics. The Information Technology End User Support Team in Naples, FL is responsible for supporting day-to-day IT End User Support at our main campus. We are searching for an intern pursuing an Information Technology degree to support the IT End User support team.  The successful candidate will support end users with desktop support needs such as troubleshooting, installations, upgrades, and relocations alongside the IT End User Support staff. The individual will also work within the requirements of their tasks to deliver results and communicate issues in a timely and accurate manner.

 

This internship will run from May 2022 – August 2022. The ideal candidate will have the availability to work 40 hours per week at our Naples, FL and Ave Maria, FL facilities.

 

Main Objective:

To advise and support end users with their Desktop Support needs.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Help Desk Ticketing Support & Analysis              

  • Call support and queue monitoring

  • Inventory management                                     

  • Learn desktop support environment; installs, troubleshooting, upgrades, relocations

  • Ad-hoc projects related to end user support 

  • This is an in-office position located in Naples, FL and Ave Maria, FL; it is not a remote position.


Education and Experience:

Progress towards a college degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems or Business Administration required. (Students who have recently graduated are only eligible to work as an intern/co-op up to six months from their graduation date.)

 

Knowledge and Skill Requirements/Specialized Courses and/or Training:

Basic to intermediate computer skills. Be able to follow written and verbal direction.

 

Machine, Tools, and/or Equipment Skills:

PC; Familiarity with Microsoft Outlook; PowerPoint; Word and Excel. Fax; Scanner.
