Arthrex is actively seeking a IT End User Asset Analyst I that works directly with the IT departments within Arthrex to administer IT purchases, Asset management and assists with imaging for all hardware/software assets. Coordinates all maintenance, repair and operations activities to ensure timely and cost-effective purchasing and receipt of necessary equipment, software and licensing. Excellent communications and analytical skills, strong technical project management skills and a HS Diploma & 4 years of technical/systems support-related experience will be essential for this position. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

· Installs, configures, maintains and troubleshoots hardware, software, computers, printers, and other peripheral devices and ensures effective use of hardware and software resources

· Collaborates with other company departments or IT teams to function as a liaison throughout the development, testing, and implementation of new product or operating system installs and/or upgrades ensuring end users are adequately supported

· Researches and evaluates available technology and alternative solutions to make recommendations for modifications or additions to personal computer systems, hardware components, and software applications including researching costs, market options, and trends available to meet user needs

· Keeps abreast and analyzes business processes and recommends process improvements which may include working with end users to gain an understanding of business requirements as related to project assignments and ensures that expectations are understood and met

· Works with IT Vendors on behalf of Arthrex to obtain oral and written price quotes, procure discounts and limit excessive liability while examining their capabilities as a supplier.

· Analyzes trends in purchasing and recommends alternative procurement methods

· Coordinates with various company locations to negotiate and combine purchases when applicable.

· Conducts research, evaluates findings and makes independent decisions on IT procurement matters for hardware and software.

· Prepares Purchase Requisitions through SAP and places orders for the purchase of goods and services in a timely manner.

· Reviews orders for completeness, accuracy and compliance with existing policies and procedures and ensures all purchasing procedures and guidelines are followed.

· Demonstrates a continual effort to improve operations benchmarking against current industry best practices, decrease turnaround times, streamline work processes and work cooperatively with other departments to provide a quality and seamless operation.

· Researches and follows up on questionable invoices and packing slips when requested. Investigates and resolves any discrepancies.

· Receives and manages inventory, ensures security of assets while in inventory.

· Maintains and manages supplier records, service level agreements, software license information.

· Leads efforts with End User Support teams to develop enterprise wide IT purchasing standards.

- This is an in-office position located in Naples, Florida; it is not a remote position

Education and Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent required

Associate’s and/or Bachelor's Degree in Business, IT preferred

Minimum of four years of technical/systems support-related experience required

Prior experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus

 

Knowledge and Skill Requirements/Specialized Courses and/or Training:

Advanced computer skills and experience; ITIL Knowledge

Excellent judgment, highly discrete and able to maintain a high level of confidentiality

Detailed and Service orientated
