Arthrex is a global medical device company and leader in orthopedics medical education. With a corporate mission of Helping Surgeons Treat Their Patients Better™, Arthrex has pioneered the field of arthroscopy and develops more than 1,000 innovative products and procedures each year that support all aspects of orthopedics. The Graphic Design team is based in Naples, Florida and consists of Graphic Designer I, II, III, Senior, Supervisors, and Managers. The individual chosen for this position will engage with Graphic Designers of different product portfolios to work assets, assist with the employee gallery wall, corporate artwork projects, be involved with the print production team, and partner closely with the team's leadership to take on special tasks. Preferably, the ideal candidate will be pursuing a Bachelor of Art degree, with a focus around graphic design, marketing, or another related field.


This internship will run from May 2022 – August 2022. The ideal candidate will have the availability to work 40 hours per week at our Naples, FL facility.


Main Objective:

To learn the essential layout and design skills required to be an Arthrex Graphic Designer and to develop the skills needed to work in a professional atmosphere. The selected Intern will gain an understanding of the interworking of the marketing department and the necessary order of operations therein.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the creation and completion of eBoards.

  • Work with stakeholders to create PowerPoint presentations, newsletters, emails, and landing pages.

  • Create icons and graphics needed to support digital media needs.

  • Resize corporate artwork to help streamline the ordering process.

  • Help the graphic designers with project changes as needed.

  • Assist with employee gallery wall and team roster updates and additions.

  • This is an in-office position located in Naples, FL; it is not a remote position.

Education and Experience:

Progress towards a college degree in a related field required, preferably in Graphic Design or Marketing. (Students who have recently graduated are only eligible to work as an intern/co-op up to six months from their graduation date.)


Knowledge and Skill Requirements/Specialized Courses and/or Training:

  • Basic to intermediate computer skills including InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop and Acrobat.
  • Be able to follow written and verbal direction.


Machine, Tools, and/or Equipment Skills:

PC; Familiarity with Microsoft Outlook; PowerPoint; Word and Excel. Fax; Scanner.
