With a corporate mission of Helping Surgeons Treat Their Patients Better™, Arthrex has pioneered the field of arthroscopy and develops more than 1,000 innovative products and procedures each year that support all aspects of orthopedics. The Finance department is responsible for managing that business activity, developing financial reporting and monitoring financial operations.  The Transformation team is specifically charged with ensuring finance services are delivered utilizing GAAP, best practice and aligned to finance policies. We are seeking an Intern to assist in the Roadmap, Goals & Objectives of the various finance teams and develop project management artifacts such as SIPOC, Process Mapping, detailed project plans, and execution/status updates. Progress towards a Finance, Business, or Information Technology degree is highly preferred.

 

This internship will run from May 2022 – August 2022. The ideal candidate will have the availability to work 40 hours per week at our Naples, FL facility.

 

Main Objective:

To support process evaluation, improvement and implementation across Finance teams.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Complete Project Artifacts & Status Updates for assigned projects   

  • Attend team meetings to assist in prioritizing projects

  • Complete system testing for enhancements included projects                  

  • Develop KPI’s and measurement methods related to projects

  • This is an in-office position located in Naples, FL; it is not a remote position.


Education and Experience:

Progress towards a college degree in a related field required, preferably in Finance, Business or Information Technology. (Students who have recently graduated are only eligible to work as an intern/co-op up to six months from their graduation date.)

 

Knowledge and Skill Requirements/Specialized Courses and/or Training:

Basic to intermediate computer skills. Be able to follow written and verbal direction.

 

Machine, Tools, and/or Equipment Skills:

PC; Familiarity with Microsoft Outlook; PowerPoint; Word and Excel. Fax; Scanner.
