The Corporate Engagement team is responsible for leading community engagements, educational initiatives with universities, and corporate sponsorships, as well as providing project management support for the Communications department and all of its sub-teams. The team interacts with employees, health care professionals and community guests on a daily basis and therefore must always be deadline and detail-orientated, with excellent interpersonal and organizational skills and strong customer service skills.


This internship will run from October 2021 - January 2022. The ideal candidate will have the availability to work at least 25 hours per week at our Naples, FL facility.


Main Objective:

To support the initiatives of the Corporate Engagement Team which include university relations and special employee programming.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assisting with the daily functions related to university relations and special employee programming.                                       

  • Support with scheduling and planning of various Community Engagement Events.

  • Assisting with administrative tasks and duties for Corporate Communications Team.

  • Manage the employee event ticket distribution program.

  • This is an in-office position located in Naples, FL; it is not a remote position.

Education and Experience:

  • Progress towards a college degree required, preferably in Communications or Marketing. (Students who have recently graduated are only eligible to work as an intern/co-op up to six months from their graduation date.)


Knowledge and Skill Requirements/Specialized Courses and/or Training:

Basic to intermediate computer skills. Be able to follow written and verbal direction.


Machine, Tools, and/or Equipment Skills:

PC; Familiarity with Microsoft Outlook; PowerPoint; Word and Excel. Fax; Scanner.
