Main Objective:

Responsible for identifying solutions to business or operational related issues dealing with existing and new contracts.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Reviewing, negotiating, analyzing and providing feedback to internal clients on assigned Company contracts to ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, Company guidelines for contract review, corporate policies and project requirements.
  • Evaluating the terms and conditions of a variety of contracts (e.g., non-disclosure agreements, supply, vendor, software license, distribution, sales, confidentiality, consulting, research, material transfer, vendor, statements of work).
  • Under supervision of Counsel, facilitate requests, drafting, review, negotiations, and execution of company contracts.
  • Developing a strong and practical understanding of relevant legal and regulatory requirements applicable to the Company, and application of those requirements to contract activities and documents.
  • Developing relationships and communication with internal contacts, including but not limited to Supply Chain, Vendor Management Office, Finance, Sales, and Research.
  • Maintaining complete, accurate and up-to-date contract records.
  • Responsible for contract management under the supervision of Counsel, including the initial request, preparation, and review of contracts, matter type designation, signature process, entry into electronic contract system, management of renewals, and the generation of reports for departmental leaders.
  • Assisting with various projects as assigned by Counsel.
  • Required to be performed on site in Naples, FL company headquarters
  • Up to 5% travel

 

 

Education and Training:

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • 1-year experience in contract management, legal, finance or other fast-paced business environment required.
  • Experience in a contracting role is highly desirable.
  • Experience in contract drafting and management strongly preferred.
  • Experience in a medical device, pharmaceutical or other healthcare environment helpful.
