Main Objective:

Responsible for coordinating onsite catering events and catering requests for Arthrex. Serves as liaison to internal clients while events are occurring and provides assistance to them as needed. Provides administrative support to Banquet and Meetings & Events departments.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Proposes menus for catering functions. Works with Chef, Banquet Manager, and Meeting Planners to ensure all catering needs are met. Creates catering BEOs from this process. Manage and maintains this BEO process.
  2. Receives catering changes and communicates as needed.
  3. Schedules space for catering as well as backup space if necessary.
  4. Monitors dietary restriction reports and updates corporate catering BEOs as necessary.
  5. Advises Culinary of Kosher meal needs for Banquet Events. Culinary team responsible to provide.
  6. Assists Banquet manager with rental equipment, linens, and silverware for catering events.
  7. Process all related catering event paperwork.
  8. Process all Banquet department invoices through CAPRI platform.
  9. Process all contract labor paperwork for payroll and invoice purposes.
  10. Entering Single Day Labs, R&D Labs, and Video Shoots into ReServe.
  11. Prepares monthly, weekly and special or one-time reports or projects as requested by the management team.
  12. Works closely with various departments to maintain accurate spreadsheets and databases.
  13. May provide assistance with catering events when called upon.
  14. Regularly updates all bulletin boards and monitors with any info or activities, seminars, functions as required to keep employees informed of current upcoming events.
  15. Assists with Charitable Events as needed.
  16. Designs, creates, and coordinates centerpieces for catering events.
  17. Assists with ordering any departmental needs, including but not limited to uniforms, sunglasses, office supplies.
  18. Performs other related job duties for Meetings & Events as requested.

Education and Experience:

  • High school Diploma or equivalent required
  • College Degree preferred and advanced training in project management and event planning
  • Previous catering experience required
  • Hospitality experience and knowledge of event disciplines preferred
