The Communications team at Arthrex is growing with our new StudioX open and we are actively searching for an Associate Virtual Production Stage Operator.   This position will be located on our corporate campus in Naples, FL.  Join our talented team at a global medical device company focused on Helping Surgeons Treat Their Patients Better™.

 

Main Objective:

Produce high-quality video content in a virtual production studio environment for medical education and corporate messaging.  Develop projects through content management, asset creation, and environmental setup on an LED volume, in collaboration with Media Production specialists.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Stage Operation: Assist in the setup, operation, and maintenance of the virtual production stage including LED walls, motion capture systems, and camera tracking technology.
  • Technical Support: Provide technical support during shoots, troubleshooting hardware and software issues to minimize downtime and ensure smooth production workflows.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with directors, producers, VFX supervisors, and other crew members to understand creative goals and translate them into technical requirements.
  • Data Management: Manage and organize digital assets, ensuring proper file storage, version control, and data backup procedures are followed.
  • Quality Control: Monitor and maintain the quality of real-time rendering and virtual environments, ensuring visual fidelity and performance standards are met.
  • Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols and best practices in the operation of stage equipment and during production activities.

 

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Film Production, Computer Science, Animation, or a related field, or High school diploma plus equivalent work experience is required.
  • At least 1 year of experience in virtual production, VFX, or a similar field is required.

 

Knowledge and Skill Requirements/Specialized Courses and/or Training:

  • Technical Skills: Proficiency with virtual production tools and software, including Unreal Engine, Unity, motion capture systems, and real-time rendering technology.
  • Problem-solving: Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to quickly resolve technical issues in a fast-paced production environment.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with a diverse team.
  • Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high production standards.

 

Machine, Tools, and/or Equipment Skills:

Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Windows and Mac operation systems.  Basic knowledge of the Microsoft Office product, Adobe Suite and Unreal Engine.
