 Main Objective: Work with the Advertising team to plan and manage advertising activities and to ensure timely and efficient workflow. Effectively communicate advertising project milestones and deadlines to team members and key stakeholders.     

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Organizes, attends and drafts detailed notes for advertising production status meetings, including initial briefing with creatives and stakeholders.
  2. Assists with pre-production work on advertising projects including: collection of creative components from Digital Asset Management (DAM) system and key messaging needed.
  3. Ensures completed advertising projects are archived properly per Advertising SOP
  4. Monitors Digital advertising projects to ensure progress, timelines, tasks and project milestones are on schedule.
  5. Assists with the monitoring of print and digital campaigns through MRM
  6. Responsible for all Advertising Department payments and reconciliation
  7. Functions as liaison with necessary vendors for outsourced assets
  8. Assists with managing, creating and monitoring Google Analytics and relative digital campaigns
  9. Complies monthly and quarterly digital campaign analytics

Education and Experience:

Bachelors degree required, preferably in Business, Marketing, or Advertising.

1 year of relevant work experience required.

Advertising/PR/Communications/Creative Agency experience preferred.

 

 

Knowledge and Skill Requirements/Specialized Courses and/or Training:

  • Must be adaptable and able to calmly deal with changing priorities
  • Knowledge and understanding of marketing and advertising principles.
  • Superb organizational skills and proven ability to successfully manage multitude of tasks, projects and information simultaneously.
  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills and work well under pressure in a fast paced environment.
  • Must have excellent judgment, be highly motivated and detail oriented.
  • Must be able to work independently and also be team-oriented, reliable and dependable.
  • Must have excellent computer and Internet skills.
  • Spanish and/or German language skills a plus.

     

    Machine, Tools, and/or Equipment Skills:

  • Macintosh or PC platform.
  • Experience in project management software and tools required.
  • Proficiency required in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Adobe InDesign and Photoshop skills desired.
  • Digital Asset Management experience a plus.

     

    Reasoning Ability:

    Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.  Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

     

    Mathematical Skills

    Ability to comprehend and apply mathematical principles to the degree required to perform the job based upon job requirements. 

     

    Language and Communication Skills:

    Ability to comprehend and apply language skills to the degree required to perform the job based upon the job requirements listed above.  Ability to verbally communicate ideas and issues effectively to other team members and management.  Ability to write and record data and information as required by procedures.
