Main Objective:

Supports the Medical Visualization (MV) team with the organization of assets and communication through the project creation process. Will work closely with and support the Marketing Project Managers (PMO), Medical Visualization Specialist, Manager and Supervisors.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Facilitates Client/PMO/MV team correspondence for animation/illustration projects.
  • Sends out biweekly status reports and maintains “priority link” for PM and PMO team reference.
  • Gathers, reviews and sometimes creates files/assets needed for projects for the animation/illustration/ARVR teams.
  • Assists Medical Visualization team with the MRM process.
  • Performs team overviews for company new hires, providing a general explanation of what our team produces and how we work with other teams within the company.
  • Works closely with team supervisors and manager to assign projects to creatives.
  • Assists Sr. MVS with storyboard development/approval before assigning projects to the creative. This involves reviewing, providing guidance and getting approval before the illustration/animation project has begun
  • Facilitates team “Kickoff” meetings for each project, ensuring that actual products and demonstrations have been arranged for the meeting or when appropriate.
  • Track animation/illustration projects from concept/design to completion. Ensure project previews and reviews are completed within a timely manner and meets all requirements. Provide stakeholders with regular status updates.
  • Monitor the activities of MV team personnel to ensure project progress is on schedule; roadblocks are reported to Management and PMO team
  • Responsible for trafficking critical milestones to ensure deliveries are received or made to appropriate people and within the necessary timeframe.

Education and Experience:

  • Associate’s degree in business or marketing communications department or Associate’s degree in science for surgical technology required
  • 3 years experience in the surgical or medical device field is a plus
  • 3 years experience in digital illustration/animation process is a plus

 

Knowledge and Skill Requirements:

  • Superb organizational skills and proven ability to successfully manage multitude of tasks, projects and information simultaneously.
  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills and work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must have excellent judgment, be highly motivated and detail oriented.
  • Must be able to work independently and be team-oriented, reliable and dependable.

 

Machine, Tools, and/or Equipment Skills:

  • Macintosh or PC platform.
  • Proficiency required in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
  • Familiarity with MRM and DAM systems preferred.
  • Jira, Confluence, Agile methodologies
  • Adobe Photoshop, Adobe InDesign, Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft SharePoint skills desired.

 

Reasoning Ability:

Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.  Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
