The territory for this position will be the following: Southern California, Arizona, Nevada, New Mexico, Colorado, Utah, Wyoming. The ideal candidate will live near a major metropolitan airport in one of these locations, preferably in Los Angeles, Phoenix or San Diego. However, other cities will be acceptable throughout the geography.

 

Main Objective:

The Regional Sales Manager- I&R will be responsible for overseeing and managing the Imaging and Resection product sales performance, training, and other activities with the sales force, surgeons, and accounts within his/her respective region.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Implement sales strategy for agency Imaging and Resection business. Follow up with agencies frequently to ensure strategy is being executed. When needed identify weaknesses and offer evidence-based solutions.
  2. Ensure agencies are properly structured to maximize growth and competency of product line. This generally includes assisting with recruitment of experienced capital managers and deploying Arthrex training programs.
  3. Collaborate regularly with Arthrex Regional Management team to achieve organizational objectives across product portfolio,
  4. Launch Imaging and Resection new products within region.
  5. Present Synergy imaging and resection products as well as bundled strategy at high level meetings. This also includes communicating with high level admin and IT regarding imaging product HIPAA compliance, integration, and networking capabilities.
  6. Govern Imaging & Resection product pricing structure and qualifying discounts as they relate to product bundling.
  7. Assisting representatives with trialing and closing activities at key accounts and reporting back to agencies on representative sales readiness as it relates to Imaging and Resection.
  8. Creatively building custom solutions to maximize opportunity and business impact.
  9. Communicating agency focus and structure as it relates to imaging and resection to North American Director of Sales I&R, Regional Director, Senior Director of Sales East, and VP Sales.
  10. Communicating product performance to product management and North American Director of Sales while recommending product line enhancements.
  11. Collecting key competitive information and ensuring that knowledge drives both sales effectiveness and product development direction.
  12. Coaching, teaching, and when necessary directing agency personnel via conference calls, virtual meetings, and in person visits on products/sales strategy/competitive info.
  13. Travel up to 75% of the time.

 

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 5+ years sales experience with Capital products required (arthroscopy or endoscopy preferred)
     
    Knowledge and Skill Requirements/Specialized Courses and/or Training:
  • Willing to work with cadaver specimens
  • Knowledge of surgical orthopedics and/or arthroscopy.
  • Skilled in working with different functions and effectively coordinates their activities to achieve desired results.
  • Excellent listening skills, including the ability to identify and isolate customers concerns or objections, in addition to excellent written and oral communication skills.

Strong relationship building skills desired.
 
Machine, Tools, and/or Equipment Skills:
Microsoft Office, PC and various and specialized software. Cognos, Microsoft Teams, and Salesforce experience a plus.
