With a corporate mission of Helping Surgeons Treat Their Patients Better™, Arthrex has pioneered the field of arthroscopy and develops more than 1,000 innovative products and procedures each year that support all aspects of orthopedics. The Field Audit team is responsible for auditing and reconciling Arthrex agency on-hand consignment inventory. The audit team is searching for intern that is ready to learn and support the Arthrex Audit team with driving the audit process, policies, and procedures. The ideal candidate core responsibilities will be to support the audit team in all three audit phases (Pre, Audit, Post) to ensure we are providing the best audit service and support to all Arthrex Agencies and their AOP. The candidate will have the opportunity to shadow different Field Operations departments to gain a general knowledge and understanding on how we as a group support Arthrex’s mission.

 

This internship will run from May 2023 – August 2023. The ideal candidate will have the availability to work 40 hours per week at our Fort Myers, FL facility.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Support the Arthrex Audit team with Pre-Audit planning task for annual agency audits and transitions.
  • Travel to support the onsite Audit of scanning Arthrex inventory at varies agency locations nationwide.
  • Support and assist with Post-Audit activities for both annual Arthrex audits and agency transitions.
  • Assist with agency audit inventory findings and process.
  • Support with manual excel reconciliations and audit reporting activities.
  • Support SAP activities for annual agency audits and transitions.
  • This is an in-office position located in Fort Myers, FL; it is not a remote position.

 


Education and Experience:

Progress towards a college degree in a related field required, preferably in Business or Accounting. (Students who have recently graduated are only eligible to work as an intern/co-op up to six months from their graduation date.)

 

Knowledge and Skill Requirements/Specialized Courses and/or Training:

  • General understanding of balance sheets and audit analytics.
  • Knowledge of excel and different functionalities to assist with data manipulation and manual reconciliation processes.

 

Machine, Tools, and/or Equipment Skills:

PC; Familiarity with Microsoft Outlook; PowerPoint; Word and Excel. Fax; Scanner.
