Arthrex Manufacturing is hiring a Data Analyst for the manufacturing operations.  This position will be expected to analyze, aggregate and query internal data sources to provide visual data insights into our manufacturing processes and performance. This position requires both analytical and business acumen as you will be working directly with customers and all levels of leadership. The position requires hands on technical skills, in particular a strong knowledge of SQL is required as well as experience using Power BI. The position can be located in either Ave Maria, FL or Pendleton SC manufacturing location.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Administers, installs, configures, supports, maintains, and troubleshoots Data warehouses, BI, ETL, Databases and associated systems
  • Participates in gathering user/customer requirements
  • Meets regularly with departments to solicit feedback on needs
  • Documentation and change management
  • May be involved with the following: troubleshooting, recovery, tuning of the database and cubes, software installation and upgrades, resolving errors and failures, auditing activities, and resource utilization
  • Modifies reports, cubes, dashboards, or directs programmers/analysts to make changes
  • Coordinates, documents, and implements data security measures to safeguard information.
  • Communicates with internal users and answer questions   
  • Project Management and mentorship of junior-level analysts
  • Provides technical input for overall Database, Datawarehouse, BI, ETL, and Business Applications strategy


Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree required. Preferably in Computer Science or related field preferred.
  • 5 years’ experience in at least one of the following (two or more preferred):
    • Cognos BI, Cognos TM1
    • SAP Business Objects
    • MS SQL-Server SSRS, SSIS, SSAS
    • Oracle OBIEE
    • Data Warehouses; Data synchronization/integration
    • Extraction, Translation, Load; Master Data Management
    • BI; including KPIs, Scorecards, Dashboards


Knowledge and Skill Requirements/Specialized Courses and/or Training:

  • Excellent communication skills and customer service orientation
  • At least one of the following database certifications strongly preferred: MS SQL-Server, ORACLE
  • At least one of the following business BI tool certifications strongly preferred: Cognos, BOBJ, OBIEE, SSRS


Machine, Tools, and/or Equipment Skills:

PC servers, workstations and laptops. Microsoft environment. Work with standard current computer applications, MS-Office, Visio, MS-Project, ERP, BI, MES, PLM and CRM applications
