Drive the growth and adoption of Arthrex’s Cardiothoracic portfolio across the UK by targeting strategic accounts and supporting clinical excellence. Maintain a high level of technical and procedural knowledge to support internal and external stakeholders, assist with surgical procedures, deliver hospital staff training, and organise cadaveric workshops in line with Arthrex’s commitment to Innovation and Education.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of Arthrex’s Cardiothoracic product portfolio, including features, benefits, pricing, and sales strategies.
  • Drive business and sales of the Cardiothoracic portfolio within your designated territory to exceed agreed targets
  • Collaborate with Territory Managers and Regional Sales Managers to identify and develop strategic accounts with short-, medium-, and long-term objectives.
  • Provide in-theatre support to surgeons and theatre teams during Cardiothoracic procedures, ensuring optimal use of Arthrex technologies.
  • Deliver ongoing training and education to internal teams and external customers, including surgeons, surgical trainees, and theatre staff.
  • Organise and support cadaveric and sawbone workshops to enhance clinical adoption and product familiarity.
  • Work with cadavers in lab-based training environments.
  • Support the Cardiothoracic Product Manager with internal training events, national conferences, and product launches.
  • Liaise with internal departments to ensure timely processing of orders, consignment requests, workshop logistics, and expenses in line with company policies.
  • Act as a clinical and technical expert, providing feedback to global teams to support product development and innovation.

 

Education and Professional Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree required; preferably in biomedical sciences or a related field
  • Medical Device sales experience, ideally within Orthopaedics/Cardiothoracic surgery
  • Experience in surgical theatres, ideally within Orthopaedics/Cardiothoracic surgery
  • Strong commercial acumen with a solid understanding of the UK healthcare landscape
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and selling skills
  • Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in a high-performance team environment
  • Customer-focused and results-driven mindset
