Purpose and objectives of the position:
To work within our warehouse/operations team with consistent focus on, service and the best patient outcome.You will be part of a team who are responsible for the accuracy and integrity of medical and surgical equipment used on and in patients in the operating theatre environment. Attention to detail and compliance to process essential.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Unpack ,sort and check physcial condition of returned sterile intruments and consumables.
- By way of scanning generate replenishment order of used items.
- Work closely with customer services team on customer priority list.
- Remove when required out of date /short shelf life stock.
- Amend kit content list when system requires change.
- Perform peridoic audits on kits to ensure accuracy and condition .
- By way of scanning pick, pack and ship external customers.
- All actitvities are in line with SOP’s , work Instructions and inspection criteria .
- Ensure that kits and products are returned to the correct location.
- General housekeeping
Key to Note : Over 50 % of the activity is computer based .The rest is physical and scanning of products .

- Flexibilty
- Product and process literate.
- Good working knowledge of computers ,
- Basic understanding of stock accuracy and warehousing processes.

Must be able to work more than 20+ hours in the first few weeks when training.
Working Pattern 20 hours per week;
Sunday 9am – 1pm and Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday 5pm – 9pm.
