We are looking for an energetic and keen to learn Clinical Associate who will support the team.

 

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Supporting Territory Managers and Extremities & Trauma Specialists in case cover and surgeon support.
  • Supporting Orthopaedic Surgeons by training them and being available for backup during all surgery.
  • Checking implants and liaising with CSSD.
  • Running training sessions for nurses to enable them to continue with further support in future cases.
  • Managing expectations of all cases to ensure priority cases are covered.

 

 

The job holder also agrees to take over other reasonable duties which correspond to his/her abilities if instructed to do so by the management/supervisor.

 

 

Education and professional experience:

 

  • Degree in sports medicine or other relevant.
  • Experience in a clinical/theatre role, ideally focusing on Orthopaedics.
  • Orthopaedic sales representative looking to develop into a support role.
  • Ability to manage relationships in all levels of Theatre staff.

 

 

 

General requirements:

 

  • Ability to priorities workload.
  • High level of competency in the human anatomy and ability to learn continuously with accuracy.
  • Strong team player who works well in a fast paced environment.
  • Valid UK Driving License

 

Compensation and benefits:
