Arthrex, Inc. is a global medical device company and a leader in new product development and medical education in orthopedics. The Arthrex  Wellness team is  responsible for running daily operations of an on-site wellness center, managing a wellness incentive program focused on promoting preventive medical screenings and providing evidence- based resources and programming to make measurable improvements in health and wellbeing of all U.S. employees.  The successful candidate will contribute to all aspects of a corporate wellbeing program including facilitating existing services and developing new programs. 

This internship will run from May 2026 – August 2026. The ideal candidate will have the availability to work 40 hours per week at our Naples, FL facility.
 

Main Objective:

• The Wellness Intern will gain experience in all aspects of a corporate wellness program focused on making measurable improvements in  the health and wellbeing of Arthrex employees

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Conduct VO2Max and other fitness assessments.
• Organize on-site sports tournaments.
• Develop and facilitate workouts for small group training classes.
• Provide EGYM orientations.
• Develop unique initiatives to increase wellness center utilization.

Education and Experience:

• Progress towards a college degree in Exercise Science or related health sciences required. (Recent graduates must be within six months of their graduation date to qualify.) 

Knowledge and Skill Requirements/Specialized Courses and/or Training:

• Fitness testing and exercise program design preferred.

   

Machine, Tools, and/or Equipment Skills:

• PC; Familiarity with Microsoft Outlook; PowerPoint; Word and Excel. Fax; Scanner.
