Director Finance – LATAM Region

What You’ll Do

As the Director of Finance LATAM, you will be a key strategic partner to regional leadership, responsible for:

• Driving Profitable Growth: Deliver actionable financial insights that influence business strategy and performance.
• Leading a High-Performing Team: Build and mentor a world-class finance organization across LATAM.
• Enhancing Financial Reporting: Continuously improve the relevance and clarity of financial data.
• Safeguarding Assets & Ensuring Compliance: Maintain robust financial systems and controls aligned with global standards and local regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as a trusted advisor to regional leadership, providing financial guidance and strategic input.
• Collaborate with commercial teams to optimize product portfolios, pricing strategies, and customer segmentation.
• Oversee regional cash flow, banking relationships, and treasury operations.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning processes.
• Partner with HR to manage headcount planning and payroll costs.
• Ensure timely and accurate financial close and reporting, supporting global consolidation efforts.
• Monitor KPIs and deliver insightful management reports.
• Ensure compliance with corporate policies, local regulations, and tax requirements.
• Support acquisition due diligence and integration efforts.
• Foster relationships with financial institutions and external auditors.
• Champion continuous improvement and standardization across the region.
• Mentor and develop finance talent, creating opportunities for growth and advancement.

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting (required); CPA, CMA, or MBA (highly preferred).
• 15+ years of progressive finance leadership experience, ideally in the medical device industry.
• Proven success managing regional or multinational finance teams.
• Expertise in ERP systems (SAP preferred) and advanced Excel/database tools.
• Fluency in English and Spanish (required); Portuguese (highly preferred).
• Strong executive presence and ability to influence senior stakeholders.
• Analytical mindset with a passion for solving complex business challenges.
