We are looking for a Global Mobility Manager (m/f/d) to start as soon as possible. In this newly created role, you will be responsible for the development and implementation of our global mobility strategies and processes – building from EMEA and focusing globally. You will play a key role in making international employee assignments efficient, legally and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations (labor law, tax & social security law).

Your Tasks
- Introducing strategies to streamline processes and transform policies related to international employee assignments (internal employees & external candidates)
- Initiate, monitor and manage the lifecycle of immigration and relocation (short- and long-term assignments) for employees in partnership with external immigration counsel and relocation service providers
- Lead or co-lead the domestic and international mobility experience focusing on creating good employee experience, accurate and timely responses to stakeholders (e.g. Facilitating the physical relocation of employees, their families, and their possessions - contracting with moving vendors, housing location/school enrollment assistance, assistance with selling/buying/renting a residence, etc.)
- Partner closely with employees, external providers, Talent Acquisition, HR, Legal, Finance, Payroll, Tax and other internal cross-functions
- Designing and administering expatriate policies and reward packages (e.g., compensation, housing allowances, tax equalization, benefits coordination, relocation expense reimbursement, etc.)
- Designated point of contact for time sensitive immigration documentation and record keeping as per government regulations
- Keep apprised of current mobility trends and critical updates related to government regulations and provide consultation to internal stakeholders
- Review vendor invoices and manage purchase order budget
- Generate mobility data analysis reports for audits as well as compliance requirements
- Possibly extend and manage team regarding global mobility
Your Profile
- Degree in (international) business/management/HR or equivalent
- Multiple years of experience working in the field of global mobility, including vendor coordination, expatriate/repatriate assignments, and domestic and international relocation
- Good knowledge of immigration regulations and laws
- Strong written and oral communication (English & German) skills with the ability to explain complex cases
- Strong organizational, problem solving and project management skills
- Proficient in MS Office suite applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Desire to learn new areas and skills based on rapidly changing business environment and global growth
- Interested in building and leading a team in the future (ideally already proven leadership skills)
- Desirable: Global Mobility Specialist Certification (GMS) or Global Mobility Specialist Certification, Talent Management (GMS-T)
