Main Objective:
Professionally and actively work within the Medical Education department to implement medical education initiatives in Arthrex China and ensure compliance in all aspects of medical education.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Support Medical Education Manager to manage Arthrex China Med Ed courses and medical education budget to accomplish objectives under compliance, legal and finance regulations.
- Work with MedED manager to develop variable education programs to meet HCP’s learning needs based on their segmentation: basic courses, advanced course, oversea observations programs and so on.
- Develop and maintain annual Medical Education event calendar
- Build and keep communication mechanism between China and APAC Medical Education department.
- Develop and optimize SOPs for Arthrex China to improve education effectiveness and efficiency.
- Execute workflow of all HCP education programs on time
- Communicate smoothly Internally(Sales team/MKT/Supply chain team for qualified HCP recruitment) & Externally (travel agent for HCPs’ VISAs, logistics, accommodations etc) before MedED education programs to settle down training details
- Work with MedED manager to design curriculums
- Pre-qualify HCP nominations and prepare related compliances documents
- Communicate with HCP and vendors to finalise logistics (accommodations, transportations)
- Submit compliance applications and Finish internal processes
- Execute educations programs as planned under compliance and legal regulations within finance budget:
- Make sure the are programs delivered as planned; encourage interaction between faculty and trainees; support cadaver workshop.
- On-site manage the logistic workflow.
- Post medical education event follow up:
- File all related materials: agenda, HCP information, invitation letter
- Ensure all appropriate information is submitted to compliance and finance
- Surgeon database development
- Provide monthly report to MedED manager
- Utilise educational materials and other resources from the global marketing team for the advancement of medical education in China for both surgeons and distributors as required.
- Manage med ed programs for employees on anatomy and surgical procedures
- Responsible for the administration aspects of medical education function.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelors Degree or higher.
- Knowledge of orthopedic products.
- Must be willing to travel up to 40%.
- Excellent oral and written English and Chinese communication skills.
Knowledge and Skill Requirements/Specialized Courses and/or Training:
- Ability to communicate, interact professionally and meaningfully with HCPs.
- Ability to teach and develop training materials is required.
- Strong negotiation skills are required.
