About the role:
As Marketing Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving Arthrex China's growth by identifying and developing new business opportunities, partnerships, and models aligned with evolving market dynamics. You’ll lead strategic localization initiatives and oversee the commercialization of new product introductions (NPI) tailored to the Chinese market.
This role serves as a key liaison between Arthrex China, the APAC regional team, and global headquarters—ensuring seamless communication, strategic alignment, and flawless execution. You’ll also contribute proactively to the broader business development strategy, supporting high-impact projects that shape Arthrex’s future in China.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Business Development & Strategic Planning
- Support the China GM in identifying, evaluating, and negotiating new growth opportunities.
- Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to advance business development goals.
- Advise senior leadership on market entry, expansion, and growth strategies.
Localization Initiatives
- Develop and execute localization strategies to tailor products and services to the Chinese market.
- Research and assess potential business opportunities through industry networking.
- Build financial models and tools aligned with Arthrex China’s standards.
- Monitor policy developments (e.g., VBP) and support roadmap execution in coordination with global, APAC, and local teams.
NPI Commercialization
- Serve as the key liaison between local, APAC, and global teams during pre-commercialization phases.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform strategic decisions.
- Prepare business cases with market insights, financial projections, and launch strategies.
- Align global product strategies with local market dynamics.
Strategic Projects
- Lead high-impact strategic initiatives aligned with corporate priorities.
- Collaborate across functions to ensure timely and effective project delivery.
- Manage integration of new business ideas and external partnerships.
- Provide expert guidance on deal structures, due diligence, and negotiation tactics specific to the China market
About the Requirements:
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred
- Minimum of 8 years' experience in business development or strategic project management
- Proven track record in localization projects and NPI commercialization
- Willingness to travel up to 20%
Skills & Competencies
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to develop strategic business cases and recommendations
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with experience engaging regional and global stakeholders
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex, cross-functional projects
- Advanced negotiation skills
- Fluency in English required
