Main Objective:
The Channel Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to drive sales through various distribution channels, including dealers, distributors, and partners. This role will play a key role in expanding our market presence and reaching sales targets.
Establish proper and effective communication with appropriate stakeholders across the company to ensure the proper level of sensitivity, support and collaboration with the business needs of the distributor markets in China.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute channel strategies to drive sales growth and market expansion.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key channel partners, dealers, and distributors.
- Collaborate with the sales team to ensure effective communication and alignment of sales efforts.
- Monitor and analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify opportunities for growth.
- Provide training, coaching and support to channel partners to enhance product knowledge and sales effectiveness.
- Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and performance metrics to management.
- Joint field visits with distributor sales representatives to targeted accounts with product presentations and in-services.
- Identify and assess potential distributors for geographic expansion in markets where Arthrex has no market presence.
- Propose plans for business model changes with the design, plan and execution.
- Identify training needs of distributor sales representatives.
- Ensure prompt payment by distributors and close monitoring of their Accounts Receivables
- Extensive travel (40 - 50%) is required for this position.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Proven experience in channel management, sales, or marketing roles within the medical device or orthopedic industry.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
- Willingness to travel as needed to meet with channel partners and attend industry events.
